Qatar Oman announced an amendment on the amount of shareholders’ equity in an earlier press release about the disclosure of its financial statements for 2012, which has been disclosed previously.
The company clarified that the correct figure for shareholders”” equity disclose in the press without liabilities as of the end of 2012 amounted QR 318,311,899 compared to QR 322,772,457 at the end of 2011.
The new figures come as a replacement for the previous disclosure which stated that of the shareholders’ equity including liabilities amounted to QR 328,876,286 at the end of 2012 compared with QR 330,064,283 at the end of 2011.
