The first AGM will be held after the end of its first financial year 2008

In accordance with the principles of Transparency and Disclosure requirements imposed by the Doha Securities Market on listed companies, the DSM Management has contacted Qatar Oman Investment Company seeking clarification on the company’s general assembly meeting date, particularly after the company received a notification about the above mentioned from the Ministry of Economy and Commerce.  

Based on DSM’s request, Qatar Oman Investment Company has responded that several correspondences were taken place between the company and the Ministry in this regard, whereas, the Ministry of Economy and Commerce stated that in accordance with Article (63) of the company’s Article of Association which stipulates  that the company’s general assembly for the first financial year will be held after the end of the financial year of 2008 once all establishment procedures for the company are completed by July 2007.
